What a difference a year makes! After being confined to cooking at home for most of 2020, it feels so good to be back out on the road at events and sharing our passion for outdoor cooking!

While the last year wasn’t what any of us were expecting, we did our best to make the most of the unexpected. More time at home with family. More time outdoors. And, of course, more time cooking with our favorite products.

I hope everybody had a great start to the new year. We have some exciting things happening in the BWO world for 2020 and I'm anxious to share some details with you.

Whoa. I'm not sure where spring and summer went, but looking back through my camera roll, I am reminded of what has kept me busy for the last several months.

Well, it’s high time for a post about what has been happening in the BWO world. Is it any surprise that we’ve been busy cooking?!

Well, fall is upon us and this is undoubtedly my favorite time of year to enjoy the great outdoors. Let’s talk tailgating and the best ways to savor the great outdoors during football season with family and friends.

It's been a while since my last blog post, but that's not because things are slowing down. In fact, the outdoor cooking action has been on fire. Literally! We kicked off Memorial Day weekend around the flame of the Arteflame and have been keeping the Camp Chef Smoke Pro LUX busy as well.

Spring has sprung and while we don't ever take a season off from outdoor cooking & activities, we're getting excited about spending even more time outside doing the things we love! Speaking of things we love, I've recently added two more products to the BWO portfolio that every outdoor enthusiast will soon be smitten with if you haven't heard of them already!

We are pleased to announce two new partnerships with awesomely innovative companies: Arteflame and FOGO Charcoal. Be sure to check out these products in person at the BW Outdoors booth as I'll be exhibiting at the upcoming Iowa Deer Classic in Des Moines from March 2-4 and the Eastern Iowa Sportsman's Show in Cedar Falls from March 9-11.

We recently received some Camp Chef jerky racks and have been putting them to good use on our Smoke Pro LUX. Jerky is a popular snack at our house and one batch never seems to last very long! After several batches, I've also landed on a recipe that is a favorite with family & friends.
